Delete Products

Need to delete an existing product from BoothPoint? Here's how:

 

  1. Open the back office, then tap or click on the Product tab.

  2. On the left, tap or click the search box to search for a product.
    (The search facility includes product description and product type in the criteria)

  3. To multi-select products hold the Control key down and tap or click on each product. This will highlight each product selected. To deselect a product, tap or click again and this deselects the product.

  4. One way to delete a single product is to edit her profile, then tap or click the Delete button on the top of the form.

  5. Alternatively, on the left, tap or click Delete Product(s).

  6. A message box will appear asking Are you sure you want to delete the select product (2)?
    (The message shows the number of selected products at the end of the message - (2))

  7. If you are certain these are the correct products that need deleting, select Yes, otherwise select No.

 

Tip

The products never actually get permanently deleted, instead they get put into the Recycle Bin. Follow the instructions below to restore a deleted product.

 

To de-activate products, follow the same process but instead of selecting Delete Product(s), tap or click De-Activate Product(s).

 

Restoring Products

In the case a product has been deleted in error or has returned for some reason and you want to restore her, here's how:
 

  1. At the top of the product's list is are tabs, tap or click Recycle Bin.

  2. Select the product(s) you want to restore.
    (Follow same instructions as above to multi-select)

  3. On the left in General Functions, tap or click Restore Product(s).

  4. A message box will appear asking Are you sure you want to restore the select products (6)?
    (The message shows the number of selected products at the end of the message - (6))

  5. If you are certain these are the correct products that need restoring, select Yes, otherwise select No.
