Stages Overview

Within CoverJock there are many options to run different types of pole shows. The club can ensure that the dancer must check in or not, when to call the dancer to the stage whether that is between songs for example 3, 2, 1 away or call them so long before their due on stage. Below is a list of descriptions and diagrams to give you an idea of how the stage show runs.

General Settings

Playlists can be created easily within CoverJock or by importing them from other applications. It is also possible to create playlists from existing Windows folders and sub folders.

Check-in + wait for current song to finish + single set

This diagram shows how the stage show and DJ works when check-in is selected and wait for current song to finish is enabled. The DJ will make the announcement to call the dancer(s) to the DJ ready for the pole show. Once the dancer(s) check-in they will get introduced when the next song starts.

Tip

Within Options > Stage Call Settings you can how many times the DJ calls the dancers for the pole show and the gap between stage calls.

Check-in + on stage immediately + single set

This diagram shows how the stage show and DJ works when check-in is selected and wait for current song to finish is disabled. As soon as the all dancers have checked in, they will get introduced on stage immediately after a predefined preparation time countdown for them to get from the booth to the stage.

Tip

Using this method will ensure that the dancers are on stage as soon as they check-in without them having to wait around and know when they are actually due on stage.

None Check-in + 3-2-1 away calls + single set

This diagram shows how the stage show and DJ works when check-in is not selected and 3-2-1 calls is enabled telling the dancers they are 3 songs away, 2 songs away and 1 song away. The dancers do not need to check in therefore the manager or operator needs to either swap the dancer with an available dancer or removes her from the stage call.

Tip

Using this method will ensure the dancers are notified of their pole show with plenty of time, in this example they have 9 minutes warning.

None Check-in + 3-2-1 away calls + 2 set stage show

This diagram shows how the stage show and DJ works when check-in is not selected and 3-2-1 calls is enabled telling the dancers they are 3 songs away, 2 songs away and 1 song away, plus a 2 set stage show. Any club who already runs the 2 set stage show will know how this works but for those who don't here goes... Whilst a dancer is on stage, half way through her performance another dancer is to go on stage as well as the current dancer. The current dancer gets called off stage leaving the other dancer dancing. This process repeats itself ensuring the stage is never unmanned.

Tip

Using this method will ensure the stage is never without a dancer and gives the customer a good experience seeing different dancers on stage more frequently and together for part of the time.
