Editing Dancers

Want to edit an existing dancer within BoothPoint? Here's how:

 

  1. Open the back office, then tap or click on the Dancer tab.

  2. On the left, tap or click the search box to search for a dancer.
    (The search facility includes club reference, full name, stage name, email and mobile no in the criteria)

  3. To edit the dancer either double tap, double click or alternatively press the Return key.
    (This opens the dancer profile card ready to change)

  4. To take store an image of the dancer, tap or click the Take Picture button.
    (To import a picture instead, tap or click the Import Picture button)

  5. For the dance to sign or resign the contracts, tap or click on the Contracts tab.

  6. Tap or click the Sign Contract button above the contract

 

Tip

To sign the contract, the dancer needs to read the document and scroll all the way to bottom. Once at the bottom a button appears in the bottom left, tap or click Sign Contract button. Depending on what variables have been added to the document depends on what signature, print or date is required.

 

  1. Follow the same procedure for each contract in the tab list.

  2. Scan or re-scan the dancers I.D. by tapping or clicking on the Scanned I.D. tab.

  3. Tap or click on each of the I.D's required.
    (Each I.D. is represented as a tab for example: Passport, Driving License)

  4. To scan the dancers I.D., tap or click the Scan I.D. button.
    (If the I.D. has already been scanned, tap or click the Import from File button and locate the I.D.)

 

Tip

Once the I.D. has been scanned or imported into the dancer's profile, to view or print just click the View I.D. button. This will open the image in the Windows default program.

 

  1. To setup or change the dancers music, tap or click on the Music tab.
    (This tab is only available to CoverJock users)

  2. Add music to the dancer's profile, tap or click the + button.

  3. Swipe the dancers card, tap or click the Swipe Card button at the top.
    (This option is only available if swipe cards have been enabled)

  4. Take the dancers finger prints, tap or click the Finger Prints button at the top.
    (This option is only available if finger print recognition has been enabled)

  5. To Save and return to the list of dancers, tap or click Save and Close.

  6. To  Save then clear the form to create a new dancer, tap or click Save and New.

 

Note

  1. Within Options > Mandatory Fields you can set what fields are required before save is allowed.

  2. If the working visa is entered, when clocking the dancer in it checks the expiry date and warns you accordingly.
